O Allah!

I submit my soul to you,

I entrust all my affairs to You,

I turn my face towards you,

I depend upon You for Your Blessings

Both with hope and fear of You.

There is no fleeing,

There is no escape,

There is no refuge, but with you.

I believe in your divine book which You have revealed

And in Your Prophet whom You have sent.

hadith - dua before sleeping

Move me,

Beloved God,

beyond the tangle of my worries.

Teach me to silence my noisy heart.

May I flow down

and down

in ever-widening circles

of Being.
