(no subject)

 Allah (swt) says:
“Take one step towards me,
I will take ten steps towards you.
Walk towards me, I will run towards you.”
Hadith Qudsi.

 

A religion of ease

The beloved Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, said,
“This religion is easy.
No one becomes harsh and strict in the religion
without it overwhelming him.
So fulfill your duties as best you can and rejoice.
Rely upon the efforts of the morning and the evening
and a little at night and you will reach your goal.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari]

 

 

Sent as a mercy (hadith)

 Abu Hurayra said, "The Messenger of Allah was asked,
"Messenger of Allah, invoke a curse for us against the pagans.'
He replied, 'I was not sent as a curser. I was sent as a mercy.'"

the poisoned sheep

 Narrated Anas bin Malik:
A Jewess brought a poisoned (cooked) sheep for the Prophet who ate from it.
She was brought to the Prophet and he was asked, "Shall we kill her?"
He said, "No."
I continued to see the effect of the poison on the palate of the mouth of Allah's Apostle.
