 Prayer

 

O God:

 

* You who made the word "Peace" one of Your noble names

 

* And made "Justice" amongst your attributes

 

* And made those who believe in You one people and one faith, as You said in Your Book: "The same religion God enjoined upon you as the one He enjoined on Noah, and this Quran He reveals to you, and that which was enjoined upon Abraham, Moses and Jesus: that you should steadfastly uphold the faith, and break-not your unity therein"

 

O God:

 

* Inspire the peoples and the leaders to identify your straight path,

 

* Purify them from hatred, prejudice, greed and injustice,

 

* And guide them to "Justice", without which no peace can survive,

 

* And then to "Forgiveness": that heals the past and sweetens the future.

 

* For You are indeed the Most Forgiving, Most Compassionate

 

* And You are absolutely able to fulfill what you will.
